Built in 1935, Tauzer Gymnasium has been a cornerstone of student life at Santa Rosa Junior College for generations. Named for the Tauzer family, the historic facility has hosted athletics, instruction, and campus gatherings for nearly 90 years. Through a $25 million Measure H–funded renovation, SRJC modernized the gym while preserving its legacy.
The transformation introduced flexible, accessible, and technology-enabled spaces, including new campus-wide audiovisual systems to support today’s academic, athletic,

and community needs.
