As part of an expansion, Crocker Art Museum proposed a 260-seat multi-purpose room for lectures, movies, and live performances. They also needed integrated AV for sound coverage of the museum’s entire footprint, which nearly tripled. It was critical that this setup could be operated by someone with little AV training. Therefore, we installed an easy-to-use Midas mixing board and Biamp AudiaFlex matrix mixer.
We installed a Stewart Filmscreen 11×28 screen and DPI TITAN 1080P-500 video projector in “cinema mode” to showcase movies. We also supplied meeting and conference rooms with NEC video projectors and 60×80 DaLite tensioned Advantage Deluxe Electrol screens, Crown CTS-8200 and CTS-1200 amplifiers, and ListenTech assisted listening systems. In addition, we used a BlonderTongue OC-8D SERIES CATV system and Sony EVI-D100 PTZ ceiling cameras to record and stream auditorium events to other rooms for overflow capability.
