We are looking for an experienced A/V Systems Design Engineer to work on commercial integration projects in the San Francisco Bay area. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in the design of Audio, Video, Conferencing and Control Systems.
The A/V Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, submitting and obtaining consultant / client approval of project documentation that will be provided to field personnel. This includes reviewing site surveys, producing documentation suitable for system installation, and control system programming scopes. Must be able to produce advanced audio/visual designs including: block diagrams, patch bays, panel and rack elevation, mounting details and equipment lists. The ability to create electrical infrastructure and system integration documents using AutoCAD is required.
The A/V Systems Design Engineer will provide sales and technical staff with support on both a pre- and post-sales basis including attending project meetings.
At least 3 years of audiovisual commercial integration experience as a hands-on A/V Design Engineer or Systems Engineer working commercial integration projects is required.
InfoComm International CTS Certification desired; CTS-D preferred
