The Problem
Through the public bid process Bayshore Unified School District chose PCD to complete a campus-wide audio-visual upgrade for a newly constructed Elementary School campus.
PCD’s Approach
PCD designed a system that integrated the Valcom PA/Clock system with the Extron classroom systems, including the Learning Commons and the Multi-Purpose Room.
PCD’s Solution
PCD installed a campus-wide Valcom Class Connection IP public address, intercom and clock system, and (23) Classroom Audio Visual systems with Extron Digital Pole/Vault systems. These systems offer complete centralized AV switching and control. The stereo amplifier drives the Extron’s patented Flat Field speakers delivering consistent sound levels across the listening area. The energy efficient design offers Extron’s exclusive Auto Power Save and Standby modes. The Voice Lift Microphone option allows the teacher’s voice to be evenly distributed throughout the room and puts less stress on their voice.
The Multipurpose Room AV system utilizes an Extron control system, Barco RLM-W14 projector, Community Pro VERIS loudspeakers, QSC CX series amplifiers/mixers, Audio Technica ATW-3141 wireless microphone systems and Listen Technologies assisted listing systems. This system allows presentation facilities for both small and large groups.
The Result
Using the latest classroom technology, PCD delivered AV systems throughout the new school that will allow a more dynamic teaching / learning environment.
